Tips to do things faster at work.

1) Delegate.

If other people could do it, why should you? LOL!

2) Take 10 mins work spurts and 2 min breaks in between.

Unless... you're taking a dump in between, then i suggest you take more than 2 minutes. I'm using my 2 mins in between wisely, by creating this post. LOL

3) Come to work early.

Easier said than done. :-) This is like trying to quit a bad addiction, you know its difficult to do, but it has to be done.

4) Prioritise.

Obviously. You can't do everything all at once.

5) Inbox Zero.

Deal with the emails as you receive them. don't flood it with unnecessary useless junk.

6) Avoid distractions if possible.

Don't log into facebook (you know you will be on it for hours). Appear as 'offline' on your msn. Don't answer calls which you know are personal and those which can wait.

7) drink lots of red bull. or coke.

this will make u super hyper. LOL (ok this one i'm kidding, i'm NOT gonna be responsible if you pass out from a sugar high).

8) Don't stress over what others will think/thought of you.

they're gonna have an opinion on you anyway. whether you like it or not. use this time to focus on your work and ignore these bastards/bitches/ego-maniacs/hoes/skanks/idiots/sensitive/annoying/attention-seeking individuals. :-)

BBQ @ My Place, Collex.

We decided to do a BBQ last Sunday at my place... Someone asked me if the BBQ was to celebrate something... to mark the end of the summer.. to celebrate a new beginning... a new life..? but nah... actually i didn't need a reason to do a BBQ.. i just wanted to do something with people from the office... and close mates that matter to me the most. that will do, for me. :-) P/s: special thanks to antoine for coming early to help me clean the house, and edde of course for being the BBQ master chef. and also everyone for coming to the BBQ... even though they had exams the next day, or delegations in town. cheers!!!

Eating. Again!

We celebrated the last day of the eid at Hj Hj's residence, and also celebrated Adib's birthday... Happy birthday little one! May God bless you and your family always. Special thanks to Ka Hjh Kam and family for preparing all the wonderful food... It was nice to eat real bruneian food every now and then... the beef was legendary! :-) Cheers

They say good things come in threes...


1) Three names I go by: Tina, Kai, Kaka.
2) Three jobs I have had in my life: Avon lady (selling cosmetics from door-to-door), marketing job for CSM Technology and recruiting prison officers for the Northern Territory Department of Justice.
3) Three places I have lived: perfect! i've only lived in three places anyway - darwin, brunei and geneva
4) Three TV Shows that I watch: how i met your mother, family guy and supernatural
5) Three places I have been: brazil, south korea and saudi
6) Three people who email me on a regular basis: my cousin juanna, my best friend huong and fwd emails from antoine and W/H (you know who u are LOL)
7) Three of my favorite foods: chocolate-covered cornflakes, cheese sticks and sweet sour chicken.
8) Three things I would like to do: shoot that dog that keeps leaving footprints on my front door, eat (cos i'm hungry now) and sleep (cos im tired and don't feel like working on my report)
9) Three things I am looking forward to: christmas vacation, my other best friend kate's wedding and a chance to see my family again.
10) Three useless things i do every week: spending 2 hours a day on facebook, playing pool (cos i never get any better), and watering this plant (which i'm not sure is still alive or not) LOL
11) Three of my favourite sayings: 'Bugger', 'Awesome'(must be said in a high pitch voice) and 'LOL'. LOL!!

An old friend once said, (what could have been the BEST advice i've ever been given)

'if people do nasty things to you, act like you don't give a shit'.

why waste time and energy stressing over whether these people like you or not. their opinions shouldn't even matter. so, to my friend (who shall not be named here), my advice to you is...
