I love how u can sacrifice so much for someone then get a big slap in the face... Is it really 'better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all'? I reckon in some cases you're worse off being in the first group.. and nothing hurts more when a girl feels used. For a lucky few, great love stories just happen... and for the rest of us, we really need to make an effort to make it work. This bombshell ain't goin' down without a fight!

Dinner at Jeck's Place..

No one should be on a diet during the hari raya celebrations...! We continued our quest for food today... and we ended up having dinner at this Singaporean/Thai restaurant called Jeck's Place. Mum enjoyed the food very much... Jeck's Place can be found gob smack in the middle of the red light district.... oh-so-conveniently! you know, just in case customers get hungry after 'work'... haha!

Anyway, i dropped my parents off at the front of the restaurant, so they wouldn't need to walk all the way from the basement carpark. Silly me - made the mistake of wearing this faux fur jacket to keep myself warm... as i made my way to the restaurant, this guy called out to me... thinking i must be one of the 'workers'... yikes! i'm thinking... 'yep it's the jacket'... haha! after dinner, i didn't put on the jacket (naturally), and made sure my camera was visibly hanging off my shoulders, so i looked more of a tourist instead hahaha... plan worked! (hrmmm at least i know it didn't take much effort to look like one!) haha

Today is the second day of Hari Raya... mum and i went to two houses yesterday... (i forgot to bring my camera, darn... oh well...) and today me and my parents went to our third secretary's open house...

Mum and dad arrived on the 19th Sept...! this picture was taken near the field infront of the house. it's so nice eating mum's cooking again... and the house feels more homely with them around... can't wait till my three brothers come in november! :p :p

Just got my laptop back, so now im back bloggin'..! my PC will be back in business hopefully by Monday. We had matches in the past two saturdays... and we got new crew members!

Dumbass.

This is the word I would describe the guy who tried to jab me into paying hundreds for the repairs. The cost for fixing the laptop is equivalent to the cost of buying a new one. And the quote he gave for fixing the PC was even worse... If the guy was nice, it wouldnt be such a big deal but he was being a prick abt it. 'Oh I can never understand why ppl would pay so much for their cars when they don't even want to pay just as much for the computers they use everyday'. Nope - the condescending tactic does NOT work on me. Condescending prick = dumbass. Me = doesn't give a rat's ass.

There. I feel better now.

PC went AWOL.

It's official - my PC is infected with a fake anti-spyware called System Antivirus 2008, apparently the evil twin of Vista Antivirus 2008. System Antivirus 2008 launches pretend system alert popups, where it's supposed to scare you into buying System Antivirus 2008, an early birthday gift from a Trojan. Great! And it doesn't help that I can't even log into my laptop. So... I got no choice but to send one of them in for repairs... and since most of my old pics are in the laptop, this will be the one going. Hopefully these ppl won't charge too much to have it fixed.. until then, I won't be bloggin much..!

Since our airsoft training is cancelled today (thanks to the rain), there is nothing else to do but go around shopping. The Lego Expo just started today at Balexert.. yep, Lego is 50 years old this year..

if you're wondering what the heck you've been looking at, it's this painting below... let's start a bidding war! how much would you pay for this? haha kidding. i'm NOT selling this. how did i get my hands on it, you ask? i met this artist who was busy minding his own business - painting oil on the canvas. but more than that, he was subconsciously painting his own thoughts and emotions.. i offered to buy it. he didn't want to sell it. i persisted. and eventually he gave in. and you wouldn't believe how much i bought it for! haha! it was worth it though...
