True friends.

i'm quite lucky to have met some people who have changed the course of my life and will continue to shape the kind of person i am in the future. these special friends stick with you through good and bad.. and know all your flaws, but still love you anyway.

why is it that we are often tempted to do the very thing that will bring us to our doom? could it be the adrenaline rush? the excitement that comes with getting caught? NO.

I have my own theory on this. yes, it's all of the above. BUT! i think there's 'more than meets the eye' (i'm taking this transformers movie seriously now).. i think it is because no matter what we have, we will never be satisfied. we humans are greedy. we reach a point where we are happy, then as time goes by, we look around and realise that we want more. we have a nice home - we want a bigger, better home. we have a nice car - we want another one... it's the same with airsoft guns. i want a sniper rifle now... and i'm using the 'my-brothers-are-coming-to-visit-so-i-need-guns' card as an excuse to get more haha.

You must be twisted..! Like scoliosis.

What's scoliosis? Wikipedia states that it is an abnormal lateral curvature of the spine, where it looks more like an "S" or a "C" than a straight line. There is no cure for this condition, except surgery.. where you insert and screw in a metal rod along the spine to make it straight. In my case, it's an "S"... My lower back used to hurt everytime i lie or sit down... and everytime i try to get up. We all decided that it was best not to go for surgery but to get alternative forms of treatment.

It stopped hurting after getting weekly treatments from this Canadian chiropractor over a period of 3 years. My spine is still crooked to one side but at least the shooting pain subsided as a result.

This chiropractor ended up being a family friend and great fishing mate haha. He even bought the red Celica for his daughter and changed the plates from 'TINA88' to 'JENNY88' (yes his daughter's name is Jenny). I'm not really sure to this day, if the number 88 means anything to Jenny hehe.

Hahaha now that we've come to the topic of men and women, there are so many men out there who are pretty much clueless about what a woman wants and how they think. No matter how smart they think they are... haha.

Women are generally insatiable beings.. and would want to be a priority in a man's life. Should it happen that the woman feels neglected to a point where she has to fight for his time, she will find others who will give her the attention she needs. Men take it for granted that women will always wait on hand and foot... and when he loses her, he wonders wtf happened... and by then it's already too late.

A man wants to be a woman's first love, a woman wants to be his last.

One thing I've learned in the short '21 years' of my life (not!), is that there is only one person you can depend on to make you happy... and that is... YOURSELF.

I have this theory that men are not meant to be monogamous. They are just born to be this way. Even throughout the history of the animal kingdom, the males are meant to mate with as many females as possible to produce offspring that would carry on their genes... and this is where the Darwin/Spencer theory on 'survival of the fittest' takes into effect.

The females will tend to their young and are content with the males as long as food and protection from predators are provided. Don't get me wrong, i know some men (and women) would be offended by reading this, but like i said this is just MY theory. I'm sure there are some men out there who are loyal to their other half..
