This post is dedicted to you.

It's been a while since I last wrote down my thoughts or feelings in my posts. So i've decided to this time say something about you, my friend.

I know things have been great between us over the years. But as time goes by, things gradually change.. the distance doesn't help... we drift apart and as they say, nature has taken its course.

I am sorry things have to be this way, but i'm afraid this is a choice i made on my own... You will notice that i don't reply to your emails... or your msgs. I don't answer your calls or send christmas presents.

I once heard someone sing,
'All the miseries in the world combined, is nothing...
compared to how i feel when you say good bye'.

I think this is for our own good, before things get worse and the fond memories we share together turn into bad fragments of my reality.

Let us dream a dream... and let us part with good will and well wishes.

I say farewell to you my sweet love, have a great life and see you on the other side.

I took my parents to Yvoire, a small medieval village in the Haute-Savoie department of France. We managed to kill some time and fasting didn't seem so long.. except when you see other people enjoying ice-cream... erkk! hee hee

I am very blessed this year to have my parents with me during the fasting month of Ramadhan.. I get to taste my mum's yummy cooking, Alhamdullillah.

Fêtes de Genève 2010

It was the end of the Fêtes de Genève last weekend... the festival that comes and goes but only once a year in Geneva. It took us about an hour to get there with the traffic and all, but took me 2 mins to find parking (lucky). The roads were blocked... there were food stalls everywhere.. the music was LOUD... and there were lots and lots and lots of people. like... lots. for geneva standards anyway. :-)

My house is clean!!

It's been a while since the last time I cleaned the house (properly). But I did, just before my parents came to Geneva after umrah... The results:

Ok ok it's not, that clean. But hey, no more dust on the floor. I moved the two beds back to the armoury room for my two cousins coming in September! :-)

The room I prepared for my awesome parents. When you look at this picture though, what thing comes to mind? hmmm? :p
