Just got my laptop back, so now im back bloggin'..! my PC will be back in business hopefully by Monday. We had matches in the past two saturdays... and we got new crew members!

Dumbass.

This is the word I would describe the guy who tried to jab me into paying hundreds for the repairs. The cost for fixing the laptop is equivalent to the cost of buying a new one. And the quote he gave for fixing the PC was even worse... If the guy was nice, it wouldnt be such a big deal but he was being a prick abt it. 'Oh I can never understand why ppl would pay so much for their cars when they don't even want to pay just as much for the computers they use everyday'. Nope - the condescending tactic does NOT work on me. Condescending prick = dumbass. Me = doesn't give a rat's ass.

There. I feel better now.

PC went AWOL.

It's official - my PC is infected with a fake anti-spyware called System Antivirus 2008, apparently the evil twin of Vista Antivirus 2008. System Antivirus 2008 launches pretend system alert popups, where it's supposed to scare you into buying System Antivirus 2008, an early birthday gift from a Trojan. Great! And it doesn't help that I can't even log into my laptop. So... I got no choice but to send one of them in for repairs... and since most of my old pics are in the laptop, this will be the one going. Hopefully these ppl won't charge too much to have it fixed.. until then, I won't be bloggin much..!

Since our airsoft training is cancelled today (thanks to the rain), there is nothing else to do but go around shopping. The Lego Expo just started today at Balexert.. yep, Lego is 50 years old this year..

if you're wondering what the heck you've been looking at, it's this painting below... let's start a bidding war! how much would you pay for this? haha kidding. i'm NOT selling this. how did i get my hands on it, you ask? i met this artist who was busy minding his own business - painting oil on the canvas. but more than that, he was subconsciously painting his own thoughts and emotions.. i offered to buy it. he didn't want to sell it. i persisted. and eventually he gave in. and you wouldn't believe how much i bought it for! haha! it was worth it though...

here it is... a reflection of perfection... and believe it or not, it inspired me to paint as well! check out my first abstract piece below...

Things most guys don't know about women.

Since we're on this topic, I might as well make my own list of what i think girls are like... let's see if you agree..

1. When you're talking to a girl, and she's playing with her hair, she's thinking about making out with you.
2. Girls HATE making the first move. so don't wait for it.
3. Don't lie. We can either tell by just looking at you, or somehow, someway the truth gets out and all hell will break lose. You're better off telling the truth, no matter how much it hurts.
4. Never undermine her intelligence - no one likes to feel stupid.
5. It's annoying when you check out other chicks, behind our backs or worse, infront of us.
6. When a girl is in 'drama queen' mode and hangs up on you, you call back. (cos she won't call you back - refer to point 2)
7. Compliment her when she makes an effort to look nice for you, not all of us wake up naturally beautiful so it takes some time to get ready.
8. Girls appreciate it when you make an effort to come and spend time with her. even if that means driving out friggin 5 hours for it.
9. It's suicidal to forget her birthday and your anniversary.
10. You don't have bragging rights to her car, her house and her family.. until you marry her.
11. Don't make promises you can't keep. or she will make you pay for breaking them.
12. Take an interest in what she likes to do, like blogging, sports, etc. and she will automatically take an interest in yours.
13. Girls find it sweet when the guy opens the door for her, not just in the beginning of the relationship... but even after when the chase is over.
14. Help her carry the groceries, she can't lift everything herself. and don't wait for her to ask for help.
15. Girls love being girls. and they do compare notes on each other's boyfriends.
16. Girls would prefer their man to be himself when he is around her.
17. Don't hold back. Most girls like being kissed in public.
18. Girls love it when the guy plays with their hair.

Things most girls don't know about men.

I find this very interesting.. but since I'm not a guy, I wouldn't know if it's true or not... any comments? p.s. thanks for the fwd email H.

1. Guys hate sluts even though they have sex with them! (oh yeah..you're not 'popular' if you've slept with more than 6 guys..you're a HOE)
2. Guys may be flirting around all day but before they go to sleep, they always think about the girl they truly care about. (really? hrmm i find that hard to believe haha)
3. Guys go crazy over a girl's smile.
4. Guys will do anything just to get you to notice him. (like what?)
5. Guys hate it when you talk about your ex-boyfriend or ex love-interest. (yeah well, so do girls)
6. Boyfriends need to be reassured often that they're still loved.
7. Don't talk about your guy friends to your boyfriend. Guys get jealous easily.
8. Guys are more emotional than they'd like people to think. (but.. why keep it a secret?)
9. Giving a guy a hanging message like 'You know what?!..uh...nevermind..' would make him jump to a conclusion that is far from what you are thinking. And he'll assume he did something wrong and he'll obsess about it trying to figure it out. (maybe i should try this, just for the sake of it haha... i need a guinea pig)
10. Guys are good flatterers when courting but they usually stammer when they talk to a girl they really like. (i find this strangely cute)
11. A usual act that proves that the guy likes you is when he teases you.
12. Guys love you more than you love them if they are serious in your relationships. (ok this part i didn't know... this explains a LOT! hrmm)
13. Guys think WAY too much. One small thing a girl does, even if she doesn't notice it can make the guy think about it for hours, trying to figure out what it meant.
14. Guys seek for advice from girls not other guys. Because most guys think alike, so if one guy's confused, then we're all confused.
15. When a guy asks you to leave him alone, he's just actually saying, 'Please come and listen to me.' (serious? but I don't really wanna NAG, you know?)
16. If a guy starts to talk seriously, listen to him. It doesn't happen that often, so when it does, you know something's up.
17. If your best guy friend seems to avoid you or is never around when you're with your boyfriend, he's probably jealous and likes you.(dead give away)
18. When a guy tells you that you are beautiful, don't say you aren't. It makes them want to stop telling you because they don't want you to disagree with them.
19. When a guy looks at you for longer than a second, he's definitely thinking something.
20. Guys don't like girls who punch harder than they do. (we don't like wimps anyway, need a guy with stamina! haha)
21. A guy has more problems than you can see with your naked eyes.
22. Don't be a snob. Guys can be intimidated and give up easily.
23. Guys talk about girls more than girls talk about guys. (yea right... hahaha actually... on second thought...)
24. Guys hate rejection, but they hate being led on even more.
25. If you are going to reject a guy, just do it. Don't say they are like a brother or just good friends, it just hurts even more. Tell them that you aren't interested in a relationship and they will respect you.
26. Guys really think that girls are strange and have unpredictable decisions and are MAD confusing but somehow are drawn even more to them. (and here I thought guys are just addicted to danger?)
27. When a guy sacrifices his sleep and health just to be with you, he really likes you and wants to be with you as much as possible. (nice benchmark.. but! it's very rare to find guys like these)

Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

saying i love kittens is an understatement.. i guess we have a few things in common, we both like (no, LOVE) to sleep.. we tend to do whatever we want.. a bit of a drama queen at times.. and we will BITE if we don't like you! haha... I have great respect for the photographers who take their pictures for a living, cos they never sit still! you gotta have a lot of patience...

i'm quite lucky to have met some people who have changed the course of my life and will continue to shape the kind of person i am in the future. these special friends stick with you through good and bad.. and know all your flaws, but still love you anyway.

why is it that we are often tempted to do the very thing that will bring us to our doom? could it be the adrenaline rush? the excitement that comes with getting caught? NO.

I have my own theory on this. yes, it's all of the above. BUT! i think there's 'more than meets the eye' (i'm taking this transformers movie seriously now).. i think it is because no matter what we have, we will never be satisfied. we humans are greedy. we reach a point where we are happy, then as time goes by, we look around and realise that we want more. we have a nice home - we want a bigger, better home. we have a nice car - we want another one... it's the same with airsoft guns. i want a sniper rifle now... and i'm using the 'my-brothers-are-coming-to-visit-so-i-need-guns' card as an excuse to get more haha.

ahhh, isn't it great to be human, alive and kickin'? ok keep it real y'all... for sho'...!!
